If you hurry in to O'Malley's traning you can pick up a bag of oat bran. I over ordered by mistake and got 6 bags instead of one. Use your oat bran in this recipe from the Dukan Diet
makes one
prep time 10 minutes
1 egg white
2 TBLSPS oat bran
2 tablespoons fat free Greek yogurt
for a sweet pancake use a little artificial sweetener
for savory use peppers, herbs or chopped garlic
in a small bowl beat egg whites , I use a frothing hand held battery operatedsame one I use to froth milk or cream( beating the egg whites introduces air into the egg whites and makes them appear much larger than not beating or frothy. Gives it the illusion of something much bigger than one egg white
in a separate3 bowl combine oat bran, greek yogurt and seasonings or sweetener
spread out in a small non stick pan over medium heat. pour mixture into pan and cook for around 5 minutes each side( remember to use a non stick pan)
remove to plate and allow to cool, you can also add smoked salmon, thinly sliced ham or turkey breast
Word to the wise: go easy on the oat bran at first.
